In the Old Testament, God often showed up in the cloud—making His presence known in ways His people could see and feel. The cloud wasn’t just a sign; it was His covering, His protection, and His guidance.
This piece begins my Whispers of Grace series, a reminder that the same God who led through the cloud still surrounds us today. His grace doesn’t always rush in loud or dramatic ways. More often, it moves quietly—steady, faithful, and always near—shaping us in ways we might not notice until we pause and look back.
Exodus 24:15–16
“Then Moses went up on the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain. The glory of the LORD dwelt on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. And on the seventh day He called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud.”
Acrylic on raw canvas. 24×24”
Currently on display at Jester Park Nature Center through the end of April. Will be available May 1st.
