God is still bringing gardens out of graves.
It started with the rib cage, which became a little mini series that debuted at the Waukee Arts Festival. I still have one mini left—a little foot—so swipe to the last slide to see the last mini that’s available. 🌿
I honestly thought I was going to be finished with this series after the minis… but God had other plans.
He kept laying it on my heart to paint a pelvis, along with a few other pieces that I just couldn’t shake. So here we are, continuing the Miracles series. ✨
For this piece, the pelvis felt especially meaningful. It’s a structure that supports, carries, protects, and connects us—and it even plays a role in bringing new life into the world. There was something about that symbolism of life, possibility, and new beginnings that felt so fitting for this series.
The purple flowers were intentional, too. Purple can represent healing, transformation, spirituality, and royalty. To me, they represent the beauty that God can bring from places we might see as broken, empty, or impossible.
Sometimes God asks us to keep going when we thought we were finished. Maybe that’s part of the miracle, too. 💜
